LEAMIS MISSION TRIPS
“My first short-term trip was with a LEAMIS team. I slept on a 1 inch foam mattress, took cold showers, ate beans and rice 2 or 3 times a day, and often did not understand what was being said or why things were happening the way they were. It was the best two weeks of my life! I had never been so far outside of my comfort zone, and yet so certain that I was at the center of God’s will for my life at that moment. Through that experience, I learned what it means to truly be dependent on God for all of my needs.
I chose to participate in LEAMIS trips because I shared in their emphasis on training and I knew that the training I would receive would be invaluable.
